Flor de Paraiso

Located just 15 minutes away from the beaches of Montezuma, Flor de Paraiso is an idyllic collection of small houses to rent in the heart of the Costa Rican Jungle, and on the magnificent Pacific Coast of the Nicoya Peninsula.

At Flor de Paraiso you will find four beautiful bungalows set in luxurious gardens. The Wildlife of the jungle, including Howler and Capuchin monkeys is right on your doorstep, and the whole of the Nicoya peninsula is yours to explore.

The first of our four bungalows, Carpintero, is also the largest, sleeping four people in two separate bedrooms. With a fully fitted kitchen as well as two bathrooms, what more could you ask for? The price of this bungalow, as with all our accommodation, includes maid service and car rental.

Next is the bungalow Trogon. This beautiful dwelling sits in the heart of the gardens. It sleeps two people, has a bathroom and kitchen and also a veranda where you can enjoy your meals overlooking the jungle and the sea below. Like all of our bungalows, the Bungalow Trogon offers WiFi and cable television.

The third of the bungalows is Tucancillo and, as the name suggests, this is the perfect bungalow for birdwatching. It is raised above the ground and nestles into the trees of the gardens affording you views not just of the ocean and jungles, but also the spectacular wildlife, like the parrots. Tucancillo sleeps two people with one bathroom and a kitchen. All other amenities are also provided.

The last of our beautiful bungalows at the Flor de Paraiso resort, is the Bungalow Calibri. This bungalow also sleeps two people and is set back into the gardens and is surrounded by lush vegetation, bringing the local wildlife right down to the secluded veranda. As with all the accommodation, Calibri includes vehicle rental, cable TV, WiFi, fully-equipped kitchen, communal Laundry, maid services, fans and a hot Shower.

Why not use your stay at Flor de Paraiso to explore the charming village of Montezuma. An idyllic fishing port, Montezuma boasts international and local restaurants, bars, an artisan market and some of the most unspoilt beaches you will ever find. From here you can book a boat-trip out to the island of Tortuga. Here are more quiet sandy beaches and also the opportunity to go snorkelling or scuba diving.

Around the village itself there are waterfalls and lazy pools hidden in the jungle in which you can swim or just relax the day away. For the more adventurous, why not travel south to the village of Cabuya and visit the Cabo Blanco, the oldest national park in Costa Rica. Here you can go horse-riding along the beach and through the jungle or explore the canopy of the forest on zip-lines hung through the jungle.

Further around the coast and you can visit the surfing beaches of Mal Pais or Santa Teresa.

However you take your vacations, Flor De Paraiso, with its intimate bungalows and access to all the local amenities, will fit all your requirements.
