The Nature Lodge is a quaint yet modern hotel and restaurant property inspired by the natural beauty of Montezuma. Their small hotel / lodge is nestled on a hill, with sweeping views of the jungle and the beach. The space here is serene laid back and stimulating to the senses. In and Around the Lodge

An erstwhile fishing community village, Montezuma is now known as a global hippie bohemian tourist destination. Its aura as one of the region’s most intriguing alternative and happening places has brought several tourists to its fascinating tropical landscape. The picturesque village now plays host to the international community. Encircled by a pretty landscape and coastline the town offers something for every traveler through unique restaurants and shops, a bustling nightlife and striking natural beauty. Some of the most sought after attractions in the region include the Montezuma Waterfall – a set of three scenic waterfalls (which is a short drive away from this property) and the beaches around Montezuma (which are generally uninhabited, and breathtaking beautiful, with perfect surf breaks, silver sand and shells).

Visitors can take a refreshing hike along the coastline to the north of Montezuma and through the Nicolas Wessberg Absolute Nature Reserve. This walk leads you to the many unknown beaches to Playa Grande, the tourist favorite for beaching, surfing and sunbathing. At the Playa Cocalito, guests can explore the famous El Chorro waterfall which cascades scenically into the ocean. Go further to the south of Montezuma and you will come across a rather laid back village and subsequently the Cabo Blanco, where you will discover volcanic rock formations on the coastline with several secluded beaches and rivers concluding their way to the ocean. On sultry days, guests love to dip into isolated natural tidepools along the way.
