Cocozuma is one of the biggest and oldest tour companies in the area, with offices in Montezuma, Santa Teresa (Playa Carmen), and Jaco too. Owned and operated by a Costa Rican family, they have many boats, including four just for use as a boat taxi between Jaco and Montezuma.

Taxi Boat to and from Jaco:

- Leaves at 9:30am from Montezuma, and from 11am in Jaco/Herradura. It’s $40 for adults and takes an hour. This is a fun and fast way to get to the mainland of Costa Rica.
Shuttles: Arrange to get to other popular tourist destinations or the international airport in San Jose/Alajuela. Shuttles go to places like Nosara, Tamarindo, Manuel Antonio, Monteverde, Arenal, etc.
