Restaurants

We are blessed in this part of Costa Rica because we have so many great restaurants in such a small place. With so many people from other countries living here, the quality of food is much better than what you might expect in small beach towns out in the jungle.

One of my favorites is Playa de los Artistas in Montezuma, considered by many to be the best restaurant in Costa Rica. The chef is Italian, but you won’t find much pasta here. The menu changes daily, and there’s always a selection of different types of fish and steaks. Most of the menu is appetizers, and one of the best ways to eat a meal here is to order a couple of appetizers per person, plus a fish or steak, so there’s a big variety of choices on your table.
