Disclaimer

Thanks for visiting Montezumabeach.com My website was designed to make it easier for travelers to understand Montezuma and the nearby parts of Costa Rica.

The information on this website has been researched over the past years by me, Geoff McCabe, and is not necessarily up to date. I don’t cover every subject or include every business. I’m trying to include as much information about Montezuma as possible, but with limited time available, I tend to focus on the businesses that I think are doing a great job for their guests or clients, those who are putting in extra effort to improve the environment and community in the area, and those who are my personal friends. Sometimes, the squeaky wheel gets the grease and businesses who bug me to write something will get attention.

Sometimes I ask businesses to write their own description, which I may or may not check myself personally for accuracy.

Prices change and those owners of those businesses may or may not notify me. Even if they notify me I may not remember to change the website or have time to do so. It’s a good idea for you to contact the businesses directly instead of relying on the prices that I have listed.

Some of the articles are dry information that I carefully research in order to provide the most complete set of information about that subject. Other times I include subjective opinions about various businesses or activities that may be more humorous than complete information.

I often provide links to other websites and businesses. Some of those may be my own, or my friends websites. I’m friends with many of the other business owners in this part of Costa Rica. I don’t always provide a link to every business and I reserve the right to choose who I provide one to. I usually will provide a free link and free article space for any company, website, or individual that I believe is trying to do something good for the area and the people and creatures who live here. However, the links on this website do not necessarily constitute an endorsement of the services, opinions, products, etc of those websites. The same goes for the businesses here that I write about.

This website is more of a hobby for me than a business, and I reserve the right to write about what I choose, because it’s fun and a source of entertainment for me.

Clandestina Restaurant
